Michael Rubenfeld, a Winnipeg Jew, now calls Poland his home. His play, We Keep Coming Back, about this journey, is being performed at the Winnipeg Jewish Theatre. During this session, Michael will talk about the making of the play with his mother, Mary Berchard (also from Winnipeg), and how deciding to explore his Polish roots ultimately led him to making a major life decision to own property and live in Krakow, and how/why Poland was his entry point back into Jewish life.
